Welcome to the New Place!

I've had a busy day unpacking my office after taking a lovely ride with Major around the back pastures this morning and an appointment with the farrier.  I'll get some better shots in the morning when the lighting is nicer, but here's a sneak peek at the new place.

Cole, Samson, and Major are out together in the large front pasture.

The barn has an overhang to protect from the elements, so we put panels underneath and in the paddock to make stalls with runs.  Fergie, Rain, Taz, Garmin, and Highboy are all living in this area for now.

I've placed the Centered Riding emblem on the fence at the front of the property.

The large round pen has great sand footing in it, and has solid-looking walls.  This is often used when working cows so that the cattle don't get distracted while they should be focusing on the horse and rider.  Since we don't do a ton of cattle work here at Bit of Honey, we'll use it for other things including lunging and ground work, though it's plenty big enough for a group to ride in together.

So everyone knows that Miles is around!
