Every year we go to our friend Trisha's to support her and the show she hosts to benefit the Front Range Exceptional Equestrians. This year was great fun as always with beautiful photos by Kim Hale.
Possibly the most entertaining aspect of the show was Roscoe the Barn Cat's reaction to my border collies attending to spectate. Normally a very friendly creature with a cordial nature, Roscoe was absolutely FURIOUS that these canines had arrived uninvited into HIS domain.
He did his very best serious halloween cat demonstration, and when they wouldn't go away because they were leashed and held by Rebecca, he proceeded to saunter around them, thumbing his nose at their captive situation while alternately lying on chairs near them then snarling at them. The dogs mostly tried to be submissive and stay out of his way, which was a smart choice on their part.
