Fall Veterinary Day

Today was our annual fall vet appointment with Dr. Landes with Equine Medial Services.  All the horses had their teeth checked and dental work done if needed, some had bloodwork done, some had chiropractic/acupuncture, and most had vaccines updated.  We did our best for efficiency and thoroughness and got thirteen horses attended to before 1pm!

Here is Raven, who got a dental after being checked for she needed chiropractic adjustment or acupuncture.  Happily she was pronounced good-to-go, and despite the fact that I've been working her fairly hard and regularly she had no body soreness and didn't need any adjusting!  She was very accommodating of Dr. Landes and his funny human tests like turning her head each direction at each neck vertebrae and checking her back carefully.  If you look closely you can see Miles the border collie was in attendance for supervising, too.
