Let It Snow

We are supposed to get 7" of snow today and the temps tonight should get to -16 deg, but this morning it was a balmy 6 above zero so I took photos of the snowy ranch and creatures while I waited for the elderly horses to finish their breakfast.  These first three are of a concerned baby Casper trying to figure out the three legged creature wearing a jingle bell.

Since Uncle Fason said Miles was safe, Casper eventually decided that he could touch Miles, too.

Next up was selfies with Casper.  He posed nicely for the first couple shots, then decided he should taste my Elmer Fudd hat.

Forrest and Note laughed at us from outside the paddock.

Dark horses in white snow make for great photographs, as well as the dark pine trees with snow on their needles.

This last one looks cold!  Glad I don't live in the shed in the west pasture.
