We have come to the end of day three, and Rizzo and I are both wiped out.
There was a beautiful sunrise this morning, a happy yellow saddle pad for my ride with Highboy, and a gift of amazing Bit of Honey Training socks from my rider.
Somehow Rizzo managed to get up high enough to hook her right elbow on the ledge of the window opening of the horse’s part of the trailer when she was in there for my riding lesson. She thrust her face out the window and made eye contact with everyone she could see, and she kept waving her paw out the window as if to flag down passers by in an effort to procure assistance with escaping her confinement. I’m still not sure how she managed that since she’s so short and the window is high…. Another updating instructor remains convinced that Rizzo will somehow manage to find a phillips screwdriver and then unscrew the bars on the windows to just climb out herself before the clinic’s end.
She was much happier when she was with me and participating in the clinic!
The girl looks pretty satisfied with her day’s efforts at escaping.
