A portion of the Bit of Honey Crew went to the National Western Stock Show this weekend to watch the Gambler's Choice show jumping. It was Jasi's first time seeing a competition like this and I really enjoyed sitting next to her as she gasped and leapt in her seat as the horses launched over big fences and galloped around tight turns. We also did some window shopping of sorts, checking out a $157,000 horse trailer whose living quarters were nicer than most people's houses. My second choice for spending too much money was a pair of custom riding boots, with all kinds of fancy options at $720. In the end we just bought a funnel cake and watched the horses jumping.
