Getting Reacquainted

Today was the last day of moving big stuff.  We currently have ourselves, our furniture and house stuff (thanks, church folks!), as well as the horses, fencing, and feeders (thanks, Bit of Honey crew!) all located at the new facility at 16687 North County Rd 9, Wellington, CO 80549.  I now need to update the official website, reorder brochures and business cards, and rewrite forms and that sort of office-type things.

The horses are busy getting reacquainted, now that they are all back in one location instead of spread out at various barns there is a lot of squealing and posturing going on.  All normal horse things, just re-establishing the herd dynamics.  Highboy, though the youngest of the group, spent the summer in charge of his group of horse friends which included Garmin the pony, and two morgan mares.  Now that he's back to his old herdmates they are all explaining that while he may have grown two inches taller (not kidding - he's huge) he's still the baby of the herd in their opinion.  Samson, Cole, and Major are in the front pasture working on weeds and remembering that being mannerly with humans is required after all.  Garmin and Taz had a happy reunion and are roommates, and Rain and Fergie are together again after deciding that Taz can't hang out with the ladies after all.

Once I get a few more things established in the office, and organize a bit more fencing in the paddock areas we'll be able to start accepting horses and clients from the waiting list.  With all the space we have here there should be much more elbow room for horses, humans, and tack.  Stay tuned for details concerning our Grand Opening, when the ranch will be available to tour, the local professionals we work with regularly will be here, and you can see all that we now have access to!
